After a busy year of acting, solo and unit activities, and overseas promotions, Korean boy band SS501 are back as a five-member group for their new K-pop mini-album Collection. This time they're working separately but together to present a collection of five solo tracks that showcase each member's talent and charisma. SS501이 지난해 3월 싱글 3집 앨범 발매 이후 1년 3개월여만에 5명으로 다시 돌아왔다.
싱글 3집 [DEJAVU] 발매 이후 김현중은 KBS-TV 드라마 [꽃보다 남자]의 윤지후로, 박정민은 뮤지컬 [그리스]의 대니로, 허영생,김규종,김형준은 SS501의 스페셜앨범[U r Man]으로 각자의 분야에서 성공적인 활동을 마무리 하고 2009년 하반기 SS501의 활동을 위해 완전한 SS501로 다시금 뭉쳤다.

이번 SS501 컬렉션앨범은 지난 5월 미국 라스베가스에서 촬영한 화보가 수록될 예정이며, 또 한가지의 볼거리는 매력적인 킬러로 변신한 SS501의 모습이 담긴 블록 버스터급의 뮤직비디오 이다.

오는 22일 곰TV에서 최초로 공개되는 SS501 Collection에 수록된 곡들의 뮤직비디오는 SS501 멤버가 직접 출연하며 김현중과 박정민이 킬러로 변해 도심속 차 추격신을 연출하는 등 액션영화에서나 볼 수 있는 감각적인 영상을 선보인다.

SS501은 6월말 아시아 투어를 위한 프로모션차 대만과 홍콩을 방문하여 대규모 팬미팅을 계획하고 있으며, 아시아 투어의 첫 시작인 서울공연을 위해 공연 연습에 매진할 예정이다.
