Dong Bang Shin Ki's U-Know Yun Ho makes his highly anticipated television drama debut in the MBC sports drama Heading to the Ground. Directed by Ruler of Your Own World director Park Sung Soo, the 2009 mini-series stars Yun Ho as an aspiring soccer player with a mean kick and great passion for the game. Who Are You?'s Go Ara plays a sports agent and the daughter of a soccer team owner. They meet, fight, and fall in love during their quest to prove themselves in the competitive world of professional soccer.
Though Dong Bang Shin Ki did not participate on the Heading to the Ground OST, their labelmates Girls' Generation did. The girls are as cute and energetic as ever for the cheerful insert song Motion, while members Tae Yeon and Sunny go mellow for the melancholic ballad "I'm Only in Love" (Track 2). Boys Over Flowers music director Oh Joon Sung spins another winning soundtrack with catchy and unique songs like the sweet ABBA-style Na Na Na (Track 6) and uptempo "Run!" (Track 1), both sung by newcomer Mic Pink. The soundtrack also includes Annie's acid jazz piece "Like It Like It" (Track 7), rookie Park Sang Woo's sensitive ballad Always, Buga Kingz's mid-tempo rap number "Look At The Sky" (Track 3), and Lee Hyun Wook's rock ballad "I..." (Track 8).

드라마를 빛나게 하는 OST! <맨땅에 헤딩>

지난 23일, 태연,써니의 "사랑인걸요", 부가킹즈"하늘을 봐"를 선공개하며 각종 음원 차트 1위에 오르는등 OST업계 성공만을 달려온 태연이 또 한번 히트를 예감한다.

<맨땅의 헤팅>ost는 <꽃보다 남자>ost "파라다이스", '내머리가 나빠서"등 다수 히트곡으로 드라마 음악에 있어서 실력을 인정받은 오준성 음악 감독이 맡았다. 드라마 ost 계의 퀸 태연과 같은 멤버 써니가 참여한 "사랑인걸요"는 오준성 음악감독의 또 다른 히트곡이 되고 있다.

드라마 <맨땅의 헤딩>엔딩에 삽입되어 드라마팬들의 관심을 받았던 소녀시대의 "Motion"이라는 곡도 이번 ost에 수록되었다.

또한 드라마에 삽입되어 상큼 발랄한 목소리와 분위기로 일명 '나나나송'으로 주목을 받았던 "나나나"는 오준성 음악감독이 만든 곡으로 신예 작사가 정현철이 쓴 가사에 Mic Pink라는 신인이 부른 곡이다. Mic Pink는 ABBA 스타일의 신인 걸그룹으로 드라마 오프닝 타이틀곡 "나나나"와 "뛰어!"를 통해 톡톡 튀는 목소리를 들려주며 <맨땅에 헤딩> OST 에 참여하였다.

프렌치 스타일의 애시드 스타일 곡 "좋아좋아"는 MC몽의 "죽도록 사랑해"로 유명한 김희원의 작품으로 감미로운 재즈스타일 보이스의 Annie가 불렀다. <시티홀> ost "사랑하고 사랑합니다"로 가창력을 인정받은 신인가수 박상우는 특유의 부드러운 목소리로 오준성 음악감독이 만든 발라드 "Always"를 통해 다시 한번 드라마 팬들의 감성을 자극하고, 싱어송라이터로 유명한 이현욱은 자신이 직접 만든 록 발라드 "내가…"라는 곡으로 목소리를 들려준다.
