Adapted from a novel written by popular internet writer Guiyeoni whose past credit includes Temptation of the Wolf and He was Cool, Do-Re-Mi-Pa-Sol-Ra-Si-Do is a coming-of-age drama about three teenagers and their search for the meaning of love, romance, and friendship. In his first leading role, rising star Jang Geun Suk (Crazy Waiting) portrays the lead vocalist of a band named Do-Re-Mi-Pa-Sol-Ra-Si-Do opposite up-and-coming starlet Cha Ae Rin (Bad Love), who plays a feisty young woman caught up in a complicated love dilemma. The film drew much attention even before its release, mainly due to the massive popularity of leading man Jang, whose amazing singing talent even sparked a rumor of a possible singing career for the actor, as well as his romantic flair in the much-publicized kissing scene with Cha Ae Rin.
For Jung Won (Cha Ae Rin) and her boyfriend Eun Kyu (Jang Geun Suk), their first encounter was truly a scene taken out of a comic book. It all started when Eun Kyu began rubbing her the wrong way by making fun of her droll-looking dragon mask which she was wearing for her part-time gig. But it is Eun Kyu who becomes the laughingstock when Jung Won pours soda all over him. Then one day, Eun Kyu, now her new neighbor, catches Jung Won jumping through the rooftop secretly on her way to her part-time job. He threatens to squeal the truth to her parents unless she agrees to carry his guitar for a whole week. That turns out to be a blessing in disguise as it sparks a romance between the two and soon they start dating each other. But trouble looms when Jung Won's first love Hee Won (Jung Eui Chul) pops out of nowhere revealing some juicy secrets about their past love affair.

줄거리 (Synopsis)

우스운 용가리 탈을 쓰고 놀이동산에서 알바를 하던 정원(차예련)은 자신의 탈을 쓴 모습을 놀리며 심기를 긁어 놓은 은규(장근석)에게 콜라를 들이부으며 복수를 한다. 그러던 어느 날, 옥상을 넘나들며 몰래 알바를 다니던 정원은 일주일 전 옆집으로 이사 온 은규에게 딱 걸리고, 은규가 지난 놀이동산에서 자신이 콜라를 부었던 녀석이라는 것을 알고 당황한다. 그 와중 몰래 알바를 다닌다는 사실을 부모님께 이르겠다는 은규의 협박에 못 이겨 일주일 동안 기타를 들어주기로 하는데…

정원은 매력적인 목소리와 자상함까지 갖춘 밴드 <도레미파솔라시도>밴드의 리드 보컬인 은규에게 점차 호감을 느끼고 은규 역시 정원에게 좋은 감정이 생기면서 두 사람은 어느 새 연인 사이가 된다. 그렇게 아름다운 사랑이 싹틀 즈음, 연습실에 찾아간 정원은 그 곳에서 우연히 10년 전 서로 좋아했지만, 불미스러운 일로 사이가 멀어진 희원(정의철)을 다시 만나게 되고 그들의 과거의 비밀들이 하나 둘씩 밝혀지면서 은규, 희원, 정원의 갈등이 시작되는데…
